CHECKING OF INVOICE
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to check their Invoice matches what they have ordered. It is also vital that they check shipping details.
The Packaging People PTY LTD will not be held responsible for any orders despatched to the wrong shipping address or incorrect stock if the details on an Invoice match what was advised at the time of ordering.
We ship to Australia ONLY. We can organise an order for you and send an invoice for payment, but then it would be up to you to arrange with a freight company to collect from us and deliver to you.
Once your order is picked & packed and payment has been received, we would forward you the weight and cubic measurements which will be required by the freight company of your choice.
AUTHORITY TO LEAVE
If delivery cannot be effected to an address provided by you, additional freight charges may be incurred. We give our couriers an ATL (Authority to Leave) authorisation, to avoid re-delivery fees and collection issues from freight depots, being incurred by our customers. All our parcels are traceable, but depending on the courier company, may not require a signature for delivery. We do not accept responsibility or cost for parcels once they have been scanned as delivered by the courier company. It is your responsibility to advise, prior to despatch, if you are concerned about goods being left unattended on your doorstep.
A Restocking Fee of 10% of an item’s purchase price will be charged on returned items to cover freight costs to customer, administration and warehouse processing. Returning incorrectly ordered stock needs to be at customer’s cost and The Packaging People need to authorise the return of any stock. No returns or exchanges will be accepted after 14 days. We do not issue refunds for change of mind orders or if the customer has ordered stock incorrectly, but we will offer an exchange.
