A New Business System for THE PACKAGING PEOPLE

We are an independent, Australian, and family-owned national business, and we pride ourselves in supplying high quality products together with high level customer service. During the early stages of the pandemic, and like so many other businesses, we used this challenging period to assess our business operations, and as part of our current strategic plan, undertook the decision to invest in a new, ‘’end to end’’, Enterprise Resource Planning system, (ERP).

As part of this strategy, our new ERP system not only creates a blueprint for growth, but also improves our B2B processes, with new automation and integration to improve our ecommerce functionality and back-of-house operations, with the overall objective to enhance your customer experience.

Our new ERP platform will support us in our vision to strive for improved innovation, sustainability and create a ‘single source of truth’ for TPP, across multiple business processes such as Sales, Purchasing, ecommerce, Inventory, Human Resources, and our highly valued Customer Relationship Management (CRM).  

Our ‘Go-Live’ Plans

As part of our implementation plans for our new system, we
have scheduled the following:

Normal Trading Day – Thursday 25th February 2021
Non-Trading Day – Friday 26th February 2021
Normal Trading resumes – Monday 1st March 2021

Managing Orders

We are working closely with our implementation and integration partners to minimise the interruption to our customers, however there will be periods during our changeover meaning online orders will not be available.

We will attempt best we can to ensure you are not too inconvenienced in this area, but if you do experience inability to order, please email us instead at sales@thepackagingpeople.com.au.

We will not be processing any orders on Friday 26th February during the non-trading day, and therefore our Warehouse & Offices will be closed.

Additional support staff will be on board Monday 1st March to help assist our customers and we kindly ask for your patience and understanding with our Team in the coming weeks as we all learn new aspects of the system.
